The Lethbridge Hong Sing Koon was founded in 2008 by Sifu Allan Chem. The school origionally taught only Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu, Sanda and Tai Chi, but in 2012 Sifu Damen joined the school and began teaching Praying Mantis Kung Fu.

 

The school focuses on practical use of kung fu as a self defence system. Students learn how to effectivly exicute moves and techniques to protect themselves in dangerous situations. 

 

The philosophy of Lethbridge Hong Sing Koon has allways been 'help those who need help' and this extends far past defending someone in a combat situation. The school offers it's space for groups such as the Lethbridge Belly Dance Association to use for practice, and every year the school sponcers a family for christmas, buying them food and gifts to make there holiday special.

 

Lethbridge Hong Sing Koon is more than just a martial arts studio. It's a Kung Fu family.
